Is there a way to access youtube videos at school when it's blocked? I'm doing this speech for my speech class on Ted Bundy, and i want to play one of his interviews as a visual aid. i have the link i want, but i can't access it because the school blocks it. Is there a way to get around this? Help is much apreciated if this is even possible..

Yes, of course there is.
Turn 18 and they won't be blocked anymore.
Oh, settle down, I'm kidding.
lol alex your a loser lol. jk. teachers are blocked from it too
1. A blocked site means that the school has set the proxy/router to block that particular site
2. in order to get around that, you will need the pw of the router/proxy to unblock that site.
3. If you can not, which is very likely, do a search on public proxies. use the public proxy to access the internet.
Step 3. How does one go about doing this? I'm interested myself. I've found a few lists, but don't know what to do with the information.
I suggest you download the fideo and take it on a USB drive or something..that would be easier than going around the proxy. And unless the Person running the Network is willing to give the PW or give you full access to the net..the first option is probably the best...

i found a thing called youtube video catcher. i thought you could only convert a youtube video into an mp3, but this program lets you get the actual video and all, then you just save it to your pc or flash drive. fuck the proxies lol this was better. now i could use it in school without worrying about the website being blocked and stuff.
Yeh..I think it will download in FLV format so you will need a good FLV player...Let me know if you need anything else..Laterz..

@7, this is incorrect.
You will be able to download the one video at home and transport it via usb to school yes; if this is what ou meant then soz. However, you will not be able to use the video capturer at school due to yutube being blocked; assuming that this is a local app and not a web application.
nvm it's garbage it doesn't let you have the video just the sound..
I can try to get the video for you if you want...PM me if you still need it...

Or, if your using a laptop at school, you could always use tor
http://www.vedalia.com
or you could us this site http://us.dongtaiwang.com/home_en.php
its to alow sites that the chinees goverment blocks so itproblyworkfor whatyouwant and thesite is in english
I am guessing that it probably did download the video aswell as the sound but your media player is just not playing it. Try vlc from www.videolan.org.
Tor + youtube = very painfull experience and tor doesn't work everyware; it doesn't work here.
anyone know anything about mozzilla saving the videos to your computer?
